In 1962, American pop artist Andy Warhol integrated the Campbell’s Tomato Soup can into a series of 32 silk screens. The artwork became so popular Campbell’s embraced Warhol’s art and capitalized on it through marketing, such as these mugs. The McCoy Pottery Company and the Scio Pottery Company both produced these mugs with McCoy being the most prominent.

This is an awesome set of five 1970’s vintage stoneware Campbell’s Tomato Soup label mugs that depict the classic Campbell's soup red and white label on front and back of mug. The letters USA are embossed on base.

Each mug stands 3 3/4" high and has a mouth diameter of 2 3/4" (and a width of approximately 4 1/2" from end of handle to rim). They hold 8 fluid ounces to rim. The entire set is in very good overall vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted on any of the five. Although the red color is vibrant on each mug there are some areas of color loss, consistent with the age. Please see pictures for overall condition
